"I belong to me"

The motivation for this post was that recently one of my sister's children was in class and a teacher chose to give her opinion about people getting married young using Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears as examples of why it is a mistake. I was surprised that a teacher would use the classroom as a forum to espouse her belief that people should delay marriage until an age she deemed appropriate or that she would suggest that Britney's Spears two children shouldn't exist.

Beyond that I have always liked Jessica Simpson. She has a beautiful voice and seemed to have a genuine faith. I was crestfallen to see her video in which she shares some of the decision-making points behind her divorce.

Jessica Simpson, the daughter of a Baptist Pastor and self-professed Christian, has gone from saying that marriage is for life and speaking of the unity in marriage to celebrating a very anti-Christ anti-Bible message.

Wouldn't you say getting married is opening up your heart to someone? Or do you wait until your third year into the marriage?
